Erik Swanson is an artist and illustrator whose work has been published in The New York Times, Playboy Magazine, The New Republic and The Boston Globe. He has earned recognition from American Illustration, New American Paintings, and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, among others. Swanson has exhibited his work in various institutions including the Bronx Museum of the Arts (Bronx, NY), Transmitter (Brookyn, NY), and David Shelton Gallery (Houston, TX). He has a BFA from the Otis College of Art and Design, and an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin. Erik is currently based in Berlin, Germany.
